Brothers Al and Dean Granger have been involved with the automotive business since 1975 and business owners since 1980.

Al started his career as a salesman in 1976 before opening AUTOMART (now the area's premier pre-owned automobile dealership according to Orange County Voters, who named it "The Best Place to Buy a Used Car or Truck" for 12 years running.

Dean opened Golden Triangle Paint and Performance in 1980, then later accepted management positions in service and sales with Mega-Dealers Sewell Cadillac, Frank Parra Chevrolet and Park Place Mercedes-Benz.

In 2005, after Hurricane Rita, the two brothers teamed up and took AUTOMART to the next level with a new facility including more sales and service capabilities.

June 2008 proved another challenge for the car brothers, as they purchased the local Chevrolet dealership in Orange. In a matter of one year, sales and service has been substantially increased and the Orange County voters again recognized Granger Chevrolet as the Top Choice to do business with in Orange, Texas.
